What Jobio Does
Jobio helps you track job opportunities, application stages, follow-up tasks, notes, sources, salary information, work mode, and personal insights about your job search pipeline.
Information Stored by the App
Based on the inspected project, Jobio stores job-search data locally using Apple platform storage technologies such as SwiftData and UserDefaults. This can include company names, job titles, job listing URLs, locations, salary text, work mode, source, status, notes, next actions, task due dates, timeline events, and local profile display information.
Insights are generated from the applications stored in the app, such as response and interview rates or source performance. These insights are derived from your local application data.
Job URL Imports
When you paste a job listing URL and choose to extract details, Jobio makes a network request to that specific page. The app attempts to read structured job information such as JSON-LD JobPosting data, metadata, page text, salary, location, company, title, and work mode.
Jobio does not crawl websites, bulk scrape listings, bypass login pages, bypass CAPTCHAs, or attempt to defeat anti-bot systems. If a page cannot be read, you can complete the application manually.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Jobio Pro purchases are handled through Apple StoreKit. Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime products unlock Pro access. Apple processes payment and subscription information. Jobio reads Apple transaction entitlements to determine whether Pro is active, but the inspected code does not include a separate payment processor or purchase analytics SDK.
Backend, Analytics, Advertising, and Third Parties
The inspected project does not contain a custom Jobio backend, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party purchase SDK such as RevenueCat. The app uses Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases and standard Apple networking APIs for user-requested job-page imports.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your application data remains on your device unless you delete it in the app or remove the app and its data from your device. Jobio does not provide a server-side account deletion process because the inspected app does not include a Jobio backend account system.
Security
Jobio relies on iOS device protections and Apple platform storage. No app can guarantee absolute security, so you should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and current software updates.
Children's Privacy
Jobio is intended for people managing job applications and is not directed to children. The inspected app does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a backend service.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when Jobio changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
